Our system consists of six weapon less forms and two weapons-forms:
» SNT = Siu Nim Tau (“Little Intent” or “Little Idea”) focuses on isolated arm movements.
» CK = Chum Kiu (“Seeking Arms/Bridge”) teaches complex technical sequences in motion.
» KT = Kuen To - a boxing form that builds conditioning and punching power
» BJ = Biu Jee (“Thrusting/Slinging Fingers”) loosens and frees the joints, including the spinal cord
» MYC = Mook Yan Chong (Wooden Dummy Form) is aimed at impulse-response training for the whole body
» SSC = Saam Sing Chong (Tripodal Dummy Form) teaches footwork and kicking techniques
(The spelling is irrelevant. Every lineage has its own spelling. Important is the content or meaning). These empty-hand forms and their applications contain the whole system with all its teachings.
» LDBG = Lok Dim Boon Gwan (“Six-and-a-Half Point Long Pole”) Form
» BJD = Bat Jam Dao (“Eight-Cutting Broad Swords”) Form
The two weapon forms constitute additions to the system that are well worth learning, but are often overrated. They serve to teach and deepen the understanding of the focal principles that already should have been learned during weapon less training.
